Postgraduate degrees
Hamburg University of Applied Sciences' trademark is its emphasis on applied knowledge and this is also typical of our postgraduate programmes. They are generally 3 or 4 semesters in length and course projects and lab work play an integral part, with the Master thesis often completed in industry. The programmes lead to the postgraduate academic qualifications Master of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Engineering, Master of Public Health or Master of Business Administration.

Multi-channel Trade Management in Textile Business - offered jointly by the Department of Design and the Department of Business
Professional postgraduate programmes:
Public Health (MPH) - a prerequisite of at least one year work experience in this field
Social & Health Management (MBA) - a prerequisite of at least 3 years work experience in this field
Public Management - a programme in cooperation with the Hanseatic City of Hamburg, preparing graduates for the public sector
* Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Renewable Energy Systems require A2 German as an application prerequisite.
