HAW goes USA HAW goes USA

As part of its 'HAW goes USA 2020' strategy HAW Hamburg has defined three of its eleven university cooperations as strategic partnerships. In addition to regular student exchange, each university cooperation has a particular focus to strengthen and deepen the collaboration.

Both the cooperation with Virginia Tech (aeronautical engineering) as well as the partnership with CSULB (Film) are currently recognised as strategic university partnerships and receive funding through the ISAP Programme from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The cooperation with the University of Rhode Island also received funding from the DAAD from 2011-2017. Click on the university logos to learn more.
