Campuls III Plus

Establishing and refining university health management (HGM) at HAW Hamburg

CamPuls+ is a research project for the promotion and development of university health management (HGM) at HAW Hamburg. The existing occupational health management (BGM) and student health management (CamPuls) at the university are being merged in terms of structure, strategy and content.

As part of the research project, health reporting for all status groups at HAW Hamburg will be continued and corresponding follow-up processes and measures will be monitored and further developed evidence-based.

This is not only important for concrete management: the accompanying research within the framework of the HGM is also crucial in order to present university change processes. Accordingly, this approach can be seen as a model for other projects and organizations. Furthermore, this project aims to ensure that findings can also benefit other institutions. The monitoring of structural change at HAW Hamburg and the simultaneous development of HGM structures is a unique selling point at German universities. At the same time, it provides opportunities to make use of the HGM at HAW a model project with best practice potential for many other institutions and to demonstrate the great value of the applied research competence of the HAW.

The Techniker Krankenkasse is funding the HGM project since December 2024.
