Advising on publications
The Publication Services team at the University Information and Library Service (HIBS) aims to support and advise you during each step of the publication process. We offer individual advising and workshops intended to help HAW Hamburg members publish and disseminate their work as effectively as possible.
Our advising covers topics such as choosing the right journal for your publication, using the university's own repository REPOSIT for publications and bibliographic entries, opportunities for secondary publication and publication in open-access journals. We are also happy to provide support with questions about the HAW Hamburg publication fund, the transformation agreements (e.g. SAGE, Springer Nature, Wiley), the publication of research data, the ORCID iD and the listing of funding acknowledgements in publications.
