We offer a wide range of project management training sessions on an ongoing basis as part of our year-round workshop programme. Information about new sessions, which you can attend as modules, is published here (in German) at the beginning of each month.
PMplus qualification programme

As part of the PMplus qualification programme you acquire hours in the area of project management through our workshop programme. Following completion of a reflective unit, you can obtain a PMplus certificate. It is possible to start the programme at any time.
Project management in practice (PIP) qualification programme

In the 'Project management in practice' (PIP) qualification programme you complete a practical project in an interdisciplinary team. At the conclusion of the project you have the opportunity to obtain the basic certificate in project management from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement (German Society for Project Management).
As a participant in the PMplus qualification programme you assemble your own workshop package over two years. This selection of workshops specifically reflects your career goals, your area of interest and your project management knowledge. This qualification phase concludes with a reflective unit in which you reflect on yourself and your experiences in the workshops. You then receive the PMplus certificate, which lists all of the courses you attended. This helps you enhance your profile in application processes and makes a convincing addition to your application documents.

As a participant in the PIP qualification programme you work in a team of six to eight students on a project assigned by a company or organisation from the Hamburg metropolitan region (approximately 80 to 100 hours of project work). You are readied for the practice phase through two weekend-long workshops on the topic of project management. During the project, you receive support from a company representative and a member of the Career Service staff at HAW Hamburg. At the end of the project, you have the opportunity to obtain the basic certificate in project management from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement (German Society for Project Management).
