Designing and Implementing Sustainability Strategies at Higher Education Institutions

As a continuation of the events organised as part of the "Accelerating the Sustainable Development Series",  two specialist on-line events leading to special issues of the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education are currently being organised.

1. Symposium and special issue on "Desigining and Implementing Sustainability Strategies at Higher Education Institutions"

Scope: This event will focus on the presentation, documentation and promotion of sustainability strategies at higher education institutions, including aspects of design and implementation

Deadline for abstracts: 30th June 2021

Deadline for registrations to attend the event: 10th September 2021

Deadline for full papers: 30th October 2021

Guest Editors:  Ana Margarida Simaens, Sara Moggi, Claudio Ruy Portela de Vasconcelos

Expressions of interest to attend these events, initially consisting of an abstract of 200 words with the title and an outline of the proposed papers, should be sent to the general e-mail address: iusdrp (@) ls.haw-hamburg.de
within the respective deadlines.

The papers which have been accepted, presented and discussed at each of the events may  be submitted for the specials issues of the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education, published by Emerald Publishing (UK), which is the world´s leading journal on sustainability in a higher education context:

Authors of selected abstracts will be informed about the further procedures.

A fee of € 100, plus VAT, will be charged to  delegates to offset the preparation costs.
Registrations fees may be refunded (with a 50% processing charge) in case of cancellations until
one month before each event. After that date, no refunds are possible. Details on registrations
and submissions to the special issues will be sent to the authors whose abstracts have been accepted.
