Student Counselling & Workshops

Moving from school to university can bring its challenges and it is not always a straight path that leads from admission to graduation. The Students Counselling Team is there to help you with your problems and get you back on track.

Subjects they can help you with are:

  • Orientation problems at the start of your studies
  • Support with choosing subjects
  • Looking for alternatives to dropping out
  • Problems with bureaucracy, etc.

They can also provide you with techniques in:

  • effective time management
  • learning and study methods
  • successful study planning
  • dealing with exam anxiety

These topics are also part of workshops that the Students Counselling Team offers regularly during the academic year.

How can I talk to a student counsellor?

The Students Counselling Team has open office hours in the Students Service Centre at the Campus Berliner Tor. (Mon. - Wed. 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Thurs. 2 - 6 p.m.). An appointment is not necessary.
