Hamburg University of Applied Sciences has three Research & Technology Transfer Centres involved in regional, national and international research projects:  

Sustainability & Climate Change Management

Interdisciplinary research projects in the fields of biotechnology and biomedical engineering, energy resources and management incl. renewable energies, climate change and protection, sustainable development and environmental management. R&TTC website

Bioprocess Engineering and Analytical Technology

Research focuses on Advanced Monitoring and Control (PAT) in the production of recombinant proteins, the development of fully automated integrated bioprocesses based on cell cultivation and on the modeling and simulation of bioengineering processes. R&TTC website Sturm

Cooperative Process Management in Hospitals

The goal of this area of research is to improve the processes in hospitals between doctors and nursing personnel and to implement cooperative process management. R&TTC website (in German)
