Environmental Engineering - Exchange Students

The Faculty of Life Sciences is the second largest faculty at the HAW Hamburg and offers a wide range of engineering programmes in environmental engineering, biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical biotechnology and process engineering. It has a strong focus on teaching and research on renewable energies and environmental engineering with an Energy Campus for research and reflects the city of Hamburg's focus on renewable energies.

Each summer semester (March - July) exchange students from partner universities have the opportunity to take undergraduate classes in English in the area of environmental quantification and analysis or graduate classes in renewable energy systems:

Exchange students with B2 German can also take classes in German at undergraduate level in Environmental Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology or Process Engineering.

It is also possible to take these modules in combination with some of the Business and General Education Modules offered in English as part of the Nutrition & Health Programme, if capacity allows.
