Information Engineering

Do you want to study something that connects computer science with information technology? And you are interested in a program that combines theory, practice and applications? And you are interested in close contacts to professors, who offer excellent support?

If you agree to the questions above, you should study "Information Engineering" at our university. The complete program is in English. It definitely means hard work, but fun and relaxation play a part too! The university is surrounded by a number of places that offer you rest and recreational activities.

Furthermore, Hamburg has many cultural events like musicals, international pop star concerts and has wonderful museums and theaters. The city park and the Botanical Gardens are beautiful places to relax outside. The infamous Reeperbahn is the place to be in the evening on weekends and afterwards, early in the morning you can end your party at the early morning fish market, where you can also admire the world famous port and the impressive „Speicherstadt“, an old warehouses district.

Students get a semester transport ticket included in the semester fees, so travelling around the city is easy and for free.
