Living in Melbourne

Melbourne is the state capital of Victoria and with 4.7 million inhabitants Australia's second largest city. It has a temperate climate and is well-known for its changeable weather (a bit like Hamburg). Melbourne is an international cultural centre, with major events and festivals in drama, music, art, architecture and literature. The climate, waterfront location and nightlife make it one of the most vibrant destinations in Australia and since 2010 it has been ranked the world's most liveable city.
