Living in Newcastle

Newcastle is located in the state of New South Wales, on the coast with fabulous beaches. It is Australia's seventh largest city with a population of 300,000, which makes it a quieter alternative to Sydney, which is 160 km south of Newcastle. According to "Lonely Planet" Newcastle has superb beaches and a sun-drenched climate with lots of hip bars and a laid back attitude.
