Scoring

If there are more applicants than there is intake capacity (25), applicants will be selected by way of scoring.

There are three point scores that will be used in order to compute a total point score:

Point score for academic grade of Bachelor degree
+ Point score for a voluntary TM-WISO or GMAT score
+ Point score for additional qualifications
= Total point score


The 25 applicants with the highest total point scores will be enrolled in the programme.

Point score for a voluntary TM-WISO or GMAT score

Neither the TM-WISO nor the GMAT are mandatory entrance requirements for the master programme.

However, we strongly advise you to take one of the two tests on a voluntary basis in order to increase your total point score and thereby to maximise the probability of being selected.

Only one of the two test scores can be used for calculating the total point score.

The point score for a voluntary TM-WISO score will be determined as follows:

Point score for additional qualifications

The point score for additional qualifications will be computed as follows:

Four (4) points will be granted to applicants that provide evidence of a semester abroad (i.e. away from their degree awarding university) or a full degree programme that has been studied abroad (away from the country the applicant was awarded the certificate of access to higher education).

Four (4) points will be granted to applicants that provide evidence of an internship (or job experience) abroad (i.e. away from country of their degree awarding university) with a minimum length of 20 weeks.

Four (4) points will be granted to applicants that provide evidence of at least 60 CP (ECTS) that have been taught in English whereby CP (ECTS) that stem from thesis projects and internships will not be counted.

Four (4) points will be granted to applicants that provide evidence of courses with a total of at least 60 CP (ECTS) that are related to mathematics, accounting and/or finance (e.g. mathematics, financial mathematics, linear algebra, analysis, statistics, stochastics, operations research, bookkeeping, accounting, group accounting, financial statement analysis, international accounting, management accounting, controlling, investment, capital budgeting, finance, international finance, corporate finance, risk management, taxation, banking, auditing, valuation or similar courses).
