Digitalisation at the university administration

HAW Hamburg is optimising and digitalising its administrative processes. As a university, we are utilising the potential of digitalisation for more transparency, process optimisation, increased efficiency and a reduced workload for employees. Our focus is on the sensible use of digitalisation possibilities based on their usefulness, HAW Hamburg's structures and the everyday work of university members.

The optimisation and digitalisation of administrative processes is steered by the Organisational Development and Process Management unit.

In order to achieve the stated goals, various projects have already been implemented or are currently being planned. Current projects include the introduction of digital application management systems, as well as transferring administrative processes and forms to a processmanagementsolution with workflows. Planning for the implementation of an electronic time-keeping system and electronic signature is underway. The implementation of a document-management system and an incident-managementsystem is also currently under consideration.
