Double degree programmes
As part of our cooperation with FH St. Pölten in Austria, Master's students on the ‘Sound/Vision’ degree programme can spend a semester abroad in Austria and obtain two degrees. While the ‘Sound/Vision’ degree programme focuses on design aspects, the ‘Digital Media Production’ degree programme at FH St. Pölten focuses on technical aspects. A maximum of three students from HAW Hamburg can take part in this programme each year.
HAW Hamburg students can apply for the ‘Double Degree Programme’ if they have successfully completed all of their first and second semester courses. Students with a Bachelor's degree with 180 CPs must have an additional 30 CPs. After the semester in Austria, you complete the programme with the thesis semester.
Upon successful completion, you will receive the Master's degree in ‘Digital Media Production’ from FH St. Pölten in addition to the Master's degree in ‘Sound/Vision’ from HAW Hamburg.
