HAW Worldwide Culture Cafe

The HAW Worldwide Culture Cafe is where international and German students can meet up in a relaxed setting and talk, play games and get to know new cultures.

In winter semester 2020/21, the culture cafe is taking place every Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The link is published each week in the Facebook group, or you can request it via email

The Culture Cafe tutors

Diana

Diana (26) is a journalism student at Universität Hamburg and has designed and maintained the Culture Cafe's social media presence since summer semester 2020. She is originally from Bochum and her passion is photography. In her free time she goes bouldering and does ju-jitsu. The Culture Cafe allows her to bring together exciting stories from interesting people from around the world.

 

Kathleen

Kathleen (18) is from Hamburg and in the second semester of her Computer Science studies. She has been a tutor at the Culture Cafe since summer semester 2020 and is also involved in the Department of Computer Science students' council. She plays basketball and music. What she likes most about the Culture Cafe is the open and welcoming interactions, the diverse experiences and the shared laughter.

 

 

 

Jasmin

Jasmin (24) studies Nutrition and Home Economics in Bergedorf and has been a tutor at the Culture Cafe since summer semester 2020. She has also been involved in our weBuddy programme for several semesters. She is originally from Gelnhausen in Hessen, is often out and about with her dog, and likes to cook and bake. Her other passions include singing, dancing and playing the piano.
