Studying Abroad – Credit Recognition
Recognition of Academic Achievements Abroad
Are you planning a semester abroad and would like to have the credits you earn there recognized? Then we strongly recommend arranging a consultation and planning session before applying for a study place abroad.
- Schedule an appointment with the academic advisor of your study program. Together, you will decide which courses abroad can be recognized later.
- In the next step, you will prepare a Learning Agreement – a binding document that serves as the legal basis for the later recognition of your credits.
Have you already studied at another university in Germany or are you just returning from abroad?
If you would like to have credits already earned recognized, please contact the Examination Committee of your study program for the final clarification of the recognition process.
