Regulations in case of illness

If You’re Sick Before an Exam:

Get an original medical certificate of incapacity for work (AU).
Include your matriculation number and the exam name.
Submit it to the Faculty Service Office.
Deadline: within 1 working day after the AU ends.

If You Get Sick During an Exam:

By signing in, you confirm you’re fit to take the exam.
If you suddenly feel too ill to continue:
1. Tell the examiner you’re stopping.
2. Go to a doctor immediately.
3. Get a certificate of examination incapacity (an AU alone is not enough).
4. Email or write to your exam committee chair (PAV) right away.
Submit the original certificate to the Faculty Service Office within 1 working day after it expires.
The PAV decides if your interruption is valid.

Important: If you leave an exam without a valid reason, you’ll get a grade of “insufficient” (5.0) for that exam.
