Prof. Dr.-Ing. CAROLIN LIEDTKE has been teaching and researching in the field of lighting technology at the Department of Media Technology at the HAW University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg since 2021. She worked as a lighting technology consultant at BuroHappold Engineering in Berlin from 2019 to 2020 and has been a freelance lighting engineer and consultant for artistic installations since 2011. In 2018, she completed her PhD at the Technical University of Berlin on the topic of "Quantification of spatial light distribution". She gained her teaching experience at the Technical University of Berlin, at the University of Applied Sciences Hamm-Lippstadt and, since 2018, in the further education programme "Certified Lighting Expert" of LiTG. From 2017 to 2021, she was a member of the board of the German Lighting Technology Association (LiTG) with a focus on communication, research, and education, as well as spokesperson for the "Young LiTG" group, which represents the interests of young LiTG members. Carolin Liedtke has been a member of the LiTG's Indoor Lighting Expert Forum (EFI) since 2010 and has been its spokesperson since 2021.
