Do you want to have an impact at HAW Hamburg and help shape studies and teaching at the university? Then you've come to the right place, because we need your opinion!
We – the KOMWEID project – want to promote student involvement at HAW Hamburg and support you in contributing your ideas and putting your suggestions into action.
This is why we'd be pleased if YOU would complete our brief survey on student participation and share your views with us. We want to know what has prevented you from getting involved so far and what would help you advocate for your interests at the university.
When you participate, you not only have the chance to share your opinions and wishes about student involvement with us, but you also have the opportunity to try your luck in our prize draw and win one of five HAW Hamburg hoodies or one of a variety of other prizes.
Prize draw terms and conditions

1. The competition starts on 4 April 2023 and ends on 21 April 2023 at 10:00 am.
2. Five HAW Hamburg hoodies and 16 other prizes will be drawn. The various prizes are referred to as ‘prizes’ in the remainder of this document. All prizes will be awarded to participants who have entered the competition by email. A maximum of one prize per person can be awarded. Only HAW Hamburg students are eligible to win.
3. The winners will be selected at random from all eligible participants within one week of the closing date (by 28 April 2023). The winners will be notified by email and asked to state the size of hoodie they require.
4. Participants will enter the draw by writing an email to komweid@haw-hamburg.de.
5. The prize must be collected by the winners in person at Steindamm 103 and will not be sent by post. Winners must be able to demonstrate their student status when collecting their prize.
6. Each winner will be informed by email. Each person who wins must contact us within one week by email with his/her details. If they do not contact us within this period, the prize will be redrawn and awarded to one of the other participants.
7. Participation is open to persons residing in Germany who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation.
8. The KOMWEID project reserves the right to suspend, prematurely terminate or cancel the competition at any time without providing its reasons for doing so. This right will be exercised in particular if the proper execution of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.
9. Each participant who decides to take part gives their express consent that their data will be processed as outlined above.
