Our goals
The Research and Transfer Center 3i (FTZ 3i) at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) acts as an interface between the university and industry. The primary goal of the FTZ is to promote cooperation between the university and industry and to contribute to the strengthening and sustainability of regional and supraregional companies through high-quality research and transfer services. Specifically, the FTZ 3i pursues the following goals:
- Achieving high levels of research and transfer performance to strengthen regional and supraregional companies
- Enhancing the university's reputation for science and technology
- Improving the visibility of HAW Hamburg
- Promoting research-based learning for the continuous optimization of teaching
