Networking in the digital transformation – regionally, nationally and internationally

As a university dedicated to open science as a contribution to societal and economic development, HAW Hamburg strives to promote networking and knowledge/skills transfer as part of the digital transformation.

More than ever before, HAW Hamburg is contributing its expertise on digitalisation questions and issues to society, business and politics. Together with our partners in these areas we are developing solutions to the challenges of the digital transformation. With our know-how, we are also stimulating innovation.

To do this, HAW Hamburg is pursuing the following goals:

1. Investigation, profile-building and strengthening of cooperative partnerships

HAW Hamburg is already working within cooperative partnerships in the area of digitalisation. These cooperative endeavours with various stakeholder groups and in various areas are being systematically investigated and mapped. This process highlights the existing expertise, strengthens existing cooperation and networks, and identifies new opportunities for cooperation and networking. The university also aims to strengthen the existing cooperative partnerships and increase their visibility.

2. Development of networking projects

In addition to the established cooperative partnerships, new needs-oriented networking projects are being established in the Hamburg metropolitan region and beyond based on the systematic investigation outlined above.

3. Enhanced visibility as a competent partner

HAW Hamburg also aims to increase the university's visibility as a competent partner through networking and cooperation with important stakeholders in Hamburg and beyond.
