With the help of our questions and answers, the interest test and the HAW-Navigator (self-test) you can orient yourself online. 
The HAW-Navigator is also a necessary application requirement for almost all degree programs at HAW Hamburg.
However, since the tests are not graded, the result has no influence on your chances of admission.

At the beginning of your studies with us, we would like to welcome you to an orientation week and provide you with all the important information you need. The orientation week will take place from October 6 to 10, 2025, at the Berliner Tor campus. There will be no classes in your program during this week. You can find more detailed information about the orientation week in the menu items below.

Onboarding week B.Sc. International Business

The preliminary course in mathematics for the Bachelor's degree programme International Business takes place as follows:

Period: Wednesday, 15/10/2025 and Friday, 17/10/2025 (first week of lectures)

Time: 08:30 – 13:00 hrs on both days

Location: Room 1.10 (Berliner Tor 5), Classroom sessions!

Language: English

Please bring your own laptop (or at least a tablet) to the lectures!

Please note: the regular lectures in Business Mathematics will start in the second week of lectures on Wednesday, October 22 at the times indicated in the course timetable!
