The “Course-specific Examination and Study Regulations for the Master Degree Programme of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences” of 31 July 2014 (University Gazette No. 97/2014, p. 12) will expire at the end of the 2026/2027 winter semester.

Summer semester 2025: 01.04.2025 – 30.09.2025
Semester times: 07.04.2025 – 02.08.2025 (including three weeks of examination time) 

Wintersemester 2025/26: 01.10.2025 – 31.03.2026
Semester times: 06.10.2025 – 14.02.2026 (including three weeks of examination time)
Christmas holidays: 20.12.2025 – 04.01.2026

To re-register for the new semester, please transfer the semester fee within the re-registration period. Please do not make the transfer before the start of the re-registration period, as the final amount will only be determined at the beginning of this period.

New re-registration deadlines from summer semester 2024

• Winter semester: July 1 – September 15
• Summer semester: January 1 – March 15

The semester fee must be credited to HAW Hamburg’s account no later than the last day of the re-registration period!

If you are unable to pay the semester fee for financial reasons, you can contact the AStA of HAW Hamburg. In justified cases, they may grant a loan.
