HAW Research Days 2026

The HAW Research Days are the annual event celebrating research and early-career researchers at HAW Hamburg. They offer a unique opportunity to explore the rich diversity of our research landscape and engage in inspiring dialogue.

At the heart of the event are our doctoral candidates, from both our independent and cooperative doctoral programs. We also cordially invite all professors, graduate and undergraduate students at HAW Hamburg, as well as our external industry and practice partners.

The program features a diverse lineup, ranging from a research fair and interactive workshops to the graduation ceremony honoring our recent doctoral graduates.

Highlights

  • Research Fair: Competence centers, research groups, and external partners showcase their research work.
  • Professional Development: Doctoral candidates present their research through poster presentations and the Three Minute Competition (3MC).
  • Workshops: Deepen your skills in parallel sessions.
  • Networking: Breaks, a buffet, and a joint dinner offer various opportunities for exchange.
  • Doctoral Graduation Ceremony: We celebrate our early-career researchers and give a festive farewell to the graduates of recent years.
