Options for studying abroad
HAW Hamburg has cooperation agreements in place with numerous international universities. You do not have to pay study fees when you attend our department's partner universities.
You benefit from long-standing contacts, excellent supervision and a simplified application process. In general, having credit points from the host university recognised by HAW Hamburg is also straightforward.
The student exchange coordinator can support you if you would like to spend a semester abroad.
The academic staff member for international exchange is responsible for determining whether credit points obtained abroad can be recognised at HAW Hamburg.

Application deadlines for Erasmus and overseas exchange programmes

- 15 February for the following winter semester and the subsequent summer semester
- 15 June for remaining spaces in summer semester of the next year
- 6 January for the following winter semester at the University of Long Beach (USLB)
