Potential host universities can send an expression of interest in providing support to colleagues by specifying the number of people they could host, as well as (if relevant) the preferred subject areas. They are requested to send an email to ukraine-science-bridge (at) ls.haw-hamburg (dot) de so that their offer can be added to the list.
For colleagues who need help:
Scholars and scientists from the Ukraine who need help and want to live and carry out academic work in a Baltic country should contact the 'Baltic Science Bridge' office at: ukraine-science-bridge@ls.haw-hamburg.de and provide the following details:
a) First name
b) Surname (family name)
c) Date of birth
d) Family status
e) Children (please indicate how many)
f) Home university
g) Subject area (e.g. social sciences, engineering, computers)
f) Languages spoken (English, German, etc.)
The Baltic Science Bridge will do its best to help colleagues in need find and get in touch with a university to discuss the details of a cooperation agreement. No personal details will be shared with third parties. The information will be used for the purposes of the academic cooperation only.
This is the time for the universities of the Baltic Sea region to demonstrate their solidarity in practice. Help is needed now.
