The Department of Information studies information systems and processes together with the development of the Internet. The department's students learn to prepare digital and analog content for publication and distribution.

In an increasingly complex world, the department teaches how to link information, markets, academic fields and cultures. Fourteen professors from the areas of information technology and economics, library management and media studies instruct students in the possibilities of communications processes. To support the transfer of information, students learn content preparation and data storage techniques.

We aim to help the creators of media become communications experts. Our students learn how to supply the public with information using multimedia tools. Communication is an interdisciplinary field of scholarship and thus an important interface with society.
