Dean's office
The Dean's Office heads the faculty and represents it externally. Its responsibilities include managing the budget allocated to it by the Executive Board and deciding on the allocation of positions.
The Dean's Office is currently made up of the dean and four vice-deans. Each of the vice-deans is responsible for a specific area. The dean is elected for a five-year term, and the vice-deans are elected for three-year terms.

Extended Faculty Management Council
The Extended Faculty Management Council is an advisory body made up of the members of the Dean's Office and the department heads.
The council consults on matters of particular importance and those matters that impact numerous departments, with the goal of coordinating decision making between the Dean's Office and the department-level management. These matters include budgetary issues and medium-term funding needs in the departments, structural and development planning, and the terms and conditions for target and performance agreements.
