Recent events, such as the launch of Mingyang’s 16.6 MW dual-turbine floating wind platform or the NOK 1.2 billion grant to Wind Catching Systems for the deployment of a commercial demonstrator unit of a multi-turbine floating wind platform, show more than ever the importance and possibilities of multi-rotor wind turbine systems (MRS) in the energy transition.
In order to discuss current developments and research of MRS, we are again organising a two-day international Multi Rotor 2025 seminar.
The Multi-Rotor System Seminar 2025 will take place on:
- Tuesday, 14 October 2025 and
Wednesday, 15 October 2025 - Location: HAW Hamburg auditorium at Berliner Tor 21, 20099 Hamburg (Germany)
The conference brings together wind turbine manufacturers and researchers involved in MRS development, institutions interested in innovations for the further development of wind technology, and all interested parties. The fee of participation, including catering on site and VAT, is 178.50 €.
This year's conference is once again being organised jointly by the University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) and the University of Strathclyde with the support of Renewable Dynamics. We are also delighted that Renewable Energy Hamburg Clusteragentur GmbH, Wind Catching Systems AS, and EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG are sponsoring our event.
The event will be held in English. You will soon find the programme here (which we will update on an ongoing basis).
