The welcome week for international exchange and degree-seeking students will take place from 25. September - 7. Ocotber 2023. With the help of student tutors, most events will take place on campus in small groups. Some events will be held online, including for those who cannot arrive in time. International students in higher semesters are also invited.
The following events are planned:
- Meet and greet for international first-semester students
- Hamburg tours and scavenger hunt through Hamburg
- Info session about important topics such as insurance, accommodation, residence permits, working, study financing (online)
- Networking event with different student initiatives to get involved with on and off campus
- Weekend excursions
Enrolled international students will receive the programme via email or the WhatsApp group for international first-semester students.
