As part of the HaMoNee – Hamburg/Hanoi Mobile Engineers project, instructors from HAW Hamburg and the Vietnamese partner universities can visit project partners in the partner country for teaching or research exchanges and have their travel costs and living expenses covered. Support is also available for accompanying and preparatory measures, such as the translation and/or digital preparation of teaching materials and tools.
The funding is provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as part of the HAW.International funding programme.
The inaugural teaching exchange with our Vietnamese project partners took place in 2021 as a virtual seminar in cooperation with the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). The three-day seminar, titled 'Modelling aspects in advanced automotive engineering', was held by Prof. Dr. Dirk Engel, professor of mechatronic systems in chassis engineering and initiator of the HaMoNee project, and was attended by 52 HUST students.
