A new service for our international students: A German Clinic
Mark Twain famously called it ‘The Awful German Language’. While we might not want to go that far, all learners of German will have come up against some tricky issues at some point, with the grammar often proving a particular sticking point. Studying through the medium of German can constitute a difficult challenge for international students. That’s why we’ve launched a new service to help out with those linguistic pitfalls: our German Clinic. Would you like someone to check your assignment for spelling and grammar errors before you hand it in? Has a piece of official paperwork left you baffled? Do you need to email your landlord and want to make sure you’ve got it right?
How: Make an appointment by sending an email to our student assistant, Emanuel, at deutschsprechstunde (at) haw-hamburg (dot) de. As student of German language and literature, he is just the person to help you.
Where: Studierendenzentrum, International Office, Stiftstr. 69, 20099 Hamburg
When: By arrangement
