Dr. João Eustachio is an economist, researcher, and Head of the the Sustainable Developmental Research and Practice Unit at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, where he leverages his expertise in project management, network management and research on sustainable development, sustainability leadership, education for sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability policy.

His contributions in the field of sustainability leadership have been recognized with the Baltic University Programme's prestigious 2023 PhD Award for the best doctoral thesis, further solidifying his standing in the academic community.
