resilience workshop, online

Do, 18.04.2024, 16:00 – 17:00 Uhr

Have you ever wondered how well-being actually manifests itself in the body? Training interoception, i.e. the ability to perceive your body, can prevent an overloaded brain and a tired body:

An increased heart rate, feelings of heat or a rise in stress hormones are completely normal reactions of your body to be able to perform in stressful times such as the exam phase. So stress is not always negative! However, times like these should be followed by periods of recovery and rest so as not to overstretch the nervous system's ability to react flexibly to environmental conditions.

Especially under the current study conditions during the exam period, it is difficult to find phases of relaxation. In the workshop, you will learn how body and mind work together to fulfill our need for control, self-efficacy and trust in ourselves and others by practicing practical techniques to regulate stress and increase well-being. You will also interactively learn helpful ideas from social neuroscience and developmental psychology that you can apply to everyday interactions in your studies as well as with friends and family.

You can register here.
