The 4th ILES Workshop focused on the profitable operation of electrolyzers. It addressed the challenges, possibilities and insights surrounding electrolyzer operation and served as a platform for exchange between industry and research. A particular emphasis was placed on profitability and on strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of green hydrogen production within energy markets. The programme examined the modeling and control of electrolyzers for optimized performance, as well as grid integration. Guest speakers presented their work, fostering discussions and networking opportunities, and the workshop included an excursion to the Hydrogen Lab Bremerhaven with insights into the testing facilities.
