The event will be structured around three main theme clusters:
- Different perspectives from the institutions concerning the recent achievements on LCA and Circular Economy;
- Way forward for futures studies focused on the relationship between LCA and Circular Economy as a sustainable metric;
- The connection between LCA and Circular Economy and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The experiences from the presenters will be documented and promoted in the book “The Contribution of Life Cycle Analyses and Circular Economy to the Sustainable Development Goals”, to be published by Springer Nature. This is part of the World Sustainability Series www.springer.com/series/13384, the leading peer-reviewed book series on matters related to sustainable development. The peer-reviewed nature of the book means that contributions to them have been officially counting over the years for promotion and tenure purposes.
Expressions of interest to take part in the event, initially consisting of an abstract of 200 words with an outline of the paper and names and full contact details of the authors should be sent to the coordination team at: greenoffice (at) upf (dot) br
The deadline for abstracts is 30th June 2023. The details will be discussed with the selected authors.
