Volltextzugang über Sabinet Journal for Language Teaching is the official and accredited journal of the South African Association for Language Teaching (SAALT) / Suid-Afrikaanse Vereniging vir Taalonderrig (SAVTO). SAALT was founded in 1964 for the benefit of language teaching and language teachers and lecturers and is still the only organisation with this broad aim in South Africa. The Journal publishes high standard academic research articles about language education and language related matters (such as computer-assisted language learning) which are relevant for South African university, technikon and college lecturers and teachers of languages at schools. The Editorial Board endeavours to promote special focus on areas of language teaching that is of specific importance for the current situation in South Africa.
